Ramen-Flavored Chocolate?

Some flavors go great together. Other flavors... well, here's to some bold experiments by artisan chocolate maker Komforte Chockolates. The company currently produces five chocolate bars. Two of them combine dark chocolate with ramen noodles and flavors to create an entirely new species of snack.

The company touts its products as "savory combinations that are easy to love." And what's not to love about "crunchy ramen noodle, onion, garlic, and soy sauce flavors blended into premium 53% dark chocolate"? (That's the "Savory Ramen" flavor.) Simpler palates might prefer the more basic "Ramen Noodle" variety, which merely features "crunchy, curly ramen noodle mixed into rich, premium 55% dark chocolate."

I have not yet had the opportunity to indulge in choco-ramen-topia myself, but based on reviews on Amazon it appears the ramen noodle flavor and crunch are relatively subdued. Ramen not your thing? You may consider the company's other three flavor combinations: Tortilla Lime and Salt, Apple Pie and Graham, or French Toast. Each 2.5-ounce bar goes for $3.49.
